FIREFIGHTERS, police and paramedics were called out to Haslingden after a car came off the road and caught fire.
The incident happened on the A56, just before the Haslingden turnoff at around 6.30pm this evening.
When firefighters from Rawtenstall Station arrived the occupants were already out of the vehicle. They received treatment at the scene but there are no reports of any serious injuries.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The scene has now been cleared.
A fire service spokesman said: "Firefighters from Rawtenstall responded to a report that a car had left the road and had set on fire. The occupants of the car had already got out and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire."
