ROSSENDALE’S 60s festival revved up with a collection of vintage scooters at Scootfest at Haslingden Cricket Club.
Four live bands played and trade stalls sold anything and everything that a scooter enthusiast could want.
The scooterfest was part of the 60s festival that saw Rossendale’s towns being taken over by the good vibes of the era.
Barry Hyde, chairman of the Rossendale Tourist and Heritage Group said: “I believe Scootfest has now established itself as a scooter club must-attend annual event, and can only grow in the future.”
Event organiser Mark Thomson was blown away by the response after much hard work and preparation for the event, and is considering extending the event over the full 60s festival weekend next year.
