Two vehicle smash shuts Bacup road

A MAJOR Bacup road was closed for an hour after a two vehicle crash.
Police were called to Burnley Road, at the junction with Yorkshire Street and Broadclough Bends shortly before 1pm.
Both drivers suffered minor whiplash injuries.
The road was closed for an hour while the Citroen Berlingo and Suzuki Jimny cars were recovered from the road.
Traffic was diverted through Waterfoot.
