A BACUP care home is breaching regulations, according to a health watchdog.
Deerplay Care Home in Heald Lane was rated ‘requires improvement’ by the Care Quality Commission following an inspection earlier this month.
The home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 15 people.
Inspectors said at a previous inspection in 2015 the provider was breaching a regulation in relation to recruitment.
It was also told to make sure people are involved in decisions about their care, however inspectors found in the most recent inspection that limited progress had been made and the home was in breach of two regulations.
Inspectors found the home to be safe and caring, however it was not consistently well-led, not consistently responsive and not consistently effective.
