Man, 61, injured in hit and run as he crossed road
A 61-YEAR-OLD man was left with rib and foot injuries following a hit-and-run in Bacup.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which happened at 6pm on Thursday.
It is believed the car hit the man on the pedestrian crossing in Market Street before leaving the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting log 1184 of 3rd December.
