'No regrets' for Rossendale's Big Brother star Aaron

A ROSSENDALE cage fighter-turned-model has said he has 'no regrets' after being evicted from the Big Brother house amid a chorus of boos.

Aaron Lowe, 23, who grew up in the Hall Carr area of Rawtenstall, became the fifth person to be evicted from the series after losing the public vote on Friday.

The former Alder Grange student, who has modelled for for labels including Dolce & Gabbana and John Galliano, lasted five weeks before being ousted in favour of Deana, Becky and Connor.

Speaking about his eviction, Aaron said he had ‘no regrets’ about any of his actions in the house but agreed it was the right time for him to go.

He said: "I know I upset a few people but I was me in there. Life is for living, I don't have any regrets."

He said that he had found it difficult to be himself in the house because the environment was ‘alien’ and there were so many people who were similar.

Aaron also spoke about the allegations of bullying made against him. He denied he was a bully and blamed the way the show was edited.

His friend Simon Woodcock, who was with the martial arts fan as he exited the house, said the show didn't reflect Aaron's true personality.

He said: "I thought he did well. He was funny, playing his pranks and not taking himself too seriously.

"It made me laugh seeing him with his top off showing off his abbs.

“But, I don’t think the programme showed the true Aaron, he is a caring guy who is always looking out for people.”

Fellow contestant Rebecca Hannon, of Kingsley Close, Feniscowles is still battling away to be crowded the 2012 winner.

The sister of 22-year-old Matthew Hannon, who died in a car accident in January 2006, entered the show after being picked by viewers as the wild card.
