VIDEO: Tornado spotted in Todmorden

9:10am Friday 6th July 2012 in Rossendale

A short film posted on video sharing site YouTube shows the moment a small tornado was spotted over Todmorden last night.

The video, shot by Robert Pickering, shows a swirling plume descend from storm clouds over the town.

The Met office has issued a weather warning, with more heavy rain expected in East Lancashire over the next 36 hours.
