Teenager airlifted from Bacup after incident

A TEENAGER has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an incident close to the centre of Bacup.

Police sealed off Rosebank Street and Fern Street, just after 1.30pm, after a man was found with what are believed to be self-inflicted injuries.

He was taken by the Helimed service to the Royal Preston Hospital for treatment and his condition is understood to be serious.
