A CREDIT union is celebrating coming of age by offering work experience to students.
Manager of Bacup Credit Union Eileen Goodwin said: “All too often we hear about students who have worked hard and invested in getting a degree but then can’t get a job.
“At the credit union we have a host of volunteering opportunities to give them that experience, which will enhance their CV and hopefully help them to secure a job.”
The credit union which has been running 21 years is seeking a volunteer to help window dress the premises on St James Square, Bacup, once a month, people to join the board, and people with accountancy skills or AAT training. To volunteer, call 01706 601809.
