Two car collision causes tailbacks near Rising Bridge

A TWO-car collision at Rising Bridge roundabout caused long delays this morning.
Police were called to the southbound carriageway of the A56 after the crash partially blocked the road at 10am.
Sandy Lane was also badly affected by long tailbacks until the road was cleared at 10.30am.
A Highways Agency support unit was sent to the scene, but was not needed.
