Car and bike in Haslingden crash


THE Grane Road was closed near Haslingden yesterday afternoon after a crash between a motorcycle and a car.

Nobody was seriously hurt in the incident, at around 2pm.

A Honda VTR motorbike and black Audi were damaged.

Glad there was nobody injured however was this a case of SMIDSY or was it a clash of egos. Fast bike + Audi nobhead = bang.

The Audi was parked up, not travelling down Grane Rd. Marks left by the fairing on the road suggest excessive speed......a bike doesnt slide that far uphill at 30mph. Yes I did see the aftermath cos I rode past it.

I sit corrected said the man with orthopaedic arse. Unfortunately I see Audi and assume the worst.
