A MISSING dog has been reunited with its owner thanks to a Lancashire Telegraph reader.
Steph Tunstall and Neil Grimes, launched an appeal to get their pet Zola back in yesterday's newspaper.
They said thieves lured the four-year-old rottweiler out of the back yard of a house in Manchester Road, Haslingden, before bundling her into the back of a maroon-coloured van on Monday.
The black and tan-coloured dog was found by a walker in Station Road, Huncoat, yesterday morning.
Steph, 31, who lives in North Street, said: “The lady had read the Lancashire Telegraph article and was out walking in Huncoat when she saw Zola and then called me straight away.
“Zola is fine and when she saw me she just bounded towards me — it’s wonderful to have her back.”
