A double-decker bus caught fire yesterday morning just minutes after 50 children had disembarked.
The bus had just finished a school run when the driver noticed smoke on the top deck.
Fire crews were called out to Whalley Road, Ramsbottom, at 8am yesterday.
The incident caused traffic chaos during rush-hour, until the bus was moved at 8.45am.
The fire is thought to have started in the front electronic display.
