A MAN picked up a bag for life, filled it with goods and walked out of Tesco, Rawtenstall, without paying for anything.
Blackburn magistrates heard Ryan Wells Gordon was later recognised by police from CCTV footage of his shopping trip.
Gordon, 27, of Pine Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation.
Janet Sime, defending, said the offence was committed against a background of alcohol and drug problems.
