St James' Square in Bacup
MORE than 70 homes are without power until 4pm after an underground cable became faulty.
An Electricity North West spokesman said a powercut was detected in Bacup, in the OL13 postcode area.

He said: "Engineers have reported that a full repair is needed to the underground cable in the area.
"Originally 169 homes were affected but we've managed to restore some supplies in the area.
"71 to remain off until 4pm for a repair."
