BURGLARS caused more than £100,000 worth of damage to a house in Ramsbottom after turning all of the taps on and flooding it.
Police are investigating after offenders broke into a house in Victoria Street between 8am on Saturday, April 8, and 10am on Thursday, April 13.
A spokesman said they turned all the taps on and blocked the plugs, flooding the house. They left with around £3,000 worth of property.

DS Lawrence Dixon, of Greater Manchester Police, said: “The occupiers came home to significant damage to their house and have been left devastated.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have descriptions of the offenders but I would appeal to anyone who saw people acting suspiciously on Victoria Street or perhaps hanging around the house between those times to get in touch.”
