HASLINGDEN Hall Care Home has received an overall 'good' rating from a Care Quality Commission (CQC) report.

Inspectors undertook an unannounced visit to the home and the report later rated the home 'good' for being safe, effective, caring, and a responsive and well-led.

The home provides residential care for up to 76 older people, some of whom are living with dementia.

Emma Bingham, registered manager, said: “The report is a credit to the staff and a highlight for the home.

“We know that we have a really strong sense of community and interaction with our residents and their families, and it means a lot to have this reported here.

“We do our very best to create a home-from-home."
