Two fire engines and crews from Rawtenstall attended and firefighters rescued the man who was transported to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Another vehicle had left the road but the driver had managed to get himself out of the vehicle and was uninjured.
The third car was parked by the roadside and its occupant also unharmed.
The Air Ambulance was called to the scene but not used said firefighters.
Crew manager at Rawtenstall Fire Station, Daryl Wood, said: "Amazingly he was unscathed to say what he had been through.
