A 33-YEAR-old man who believed his ex-partner had started a new relationship went round to her house and threw a brick through the window.
Blackburn magistrates heard David Martin Ainsworth had earlier phoned Pamela Allonby and told her he was going to smash her face in.

Ainsworth, 33, of Heys Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to damaging a window.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered to pay £200 compensation, £150 criminal court charge, £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge. He was made subject to a restraining order for 12 months.
Parveen Akhtar, prosecuting, said Miss Allonby started to receive calls from Ainsworth on a Sunday and when she answered he accused her of sleeping with another man and then threatened her.
“A few minutes later she heard a neighbour shout he was there and saw him pick up a brick and throw it at the window,” said Miss Akhtar.
Gareth Price, defending, said Ainsworth accepted his reaction was inappropriate.
