A MAN has been spotted acting suspiciously in Rawtenstall, police said.
He was seen in the vicinity of the Sunday Best shop on Bank Street, Rawtenstall, at 10.30am on Wednesday.
He was described as white, aged 18 or 19 years, 5ft 8in tall, slim, and has short dark hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit with navy stripes up the sides with a navy hood.
He was carrying a black and white check rucksack.

Sgt Mick McBain, of Rossendale neighbourhood police, said: “The man appeared to be watching the shop for several short periods from across the road.
“Each time he would walk away and then return to continue watching people walking in and out.”
