Animal lovers to raise cash for Rossendale sanctuary
A TEAM of animal lovers is set to take a step into the unknown in aid of their four-legged friends later this month.
The Unstables, representing Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, is taking part in the Moon Rise Run, in Manchester's Heaton Park, on April 18.
The seven-strong team, including Natalie Oldham, Sheila Linley, Owain Linley, Sophie Davidson, Becci Cross and Harrie (corr) Dudley have already reached a £250 target in pledges.
But they are hopeful of securing more support before they set off on the five-kilometre challenge, via a Just Giving page in the team's name.
Live music and artisan street food will greet all of the entrants at the end of the run.
