Man fighting for his life after Bacup accident
A MAN is fighting for his life after a crash in Bacup this morning.
He has been taken to hospital in Manchester with suspected head and spinal injuries, following the collision involving two cars in Newchurch Road at about 3.30am.
Firefighters were called to the scene and used cutting equipment to release the man from a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
The man is thought to be in his 20s but has not been identified.
