A 3D television and a designer wallet have been snatched by thieves from a home in Rossendale while the residents were asleep upstairs.
The offenders broke in to the property in Queens Place, Summerseat, through an unlocked front door before stealing the Samsung TV and Marc Jacobs purse with cash inside and leaving the same way they came in.
The incident happened overnight on Tuesday into yesterday morning.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Any information regarding this offence can be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or our non-emergency number 101.”
