POLICE are stressing the need for vigilance after a series of diesel thefts which they believe may be linked.
On November 19, a fuel filler cap was forced from a wagon in Deanfield Way, Clitheroe and about £100 worth of white diesel was siphoned from the vehicle.
Clitheroe police said the incident mirrored other thefts in Sabden and Ribchester. If you have any information ring Clitheroe police station on 01200 458734 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
