Walk tribute to teenager

Close family and friends of teenager Alex Wignall, who lost her fight against synovial sarcoma in December, will be going on a sponsored walk from Longridge to Ribchester on Sunday, May 25.
In tribute to Alex, the Alex Charity Fund was set up to raise £10,000 to help fund research into this rare form of cancer. Alex played a leading role in raising the money and this total has just about been raised.
