Former mayor dies

Former Ribble Valley mayor, Charles Warkman, has died at the age of 90.
Mr Warkman, who represented Mellor on the borough council for many years until his retirement last May, was the mayor during 2004/05.
He lived in Hob Green, Mellor, and died on Saturday at East Lancashire Hospice with his family at this side.
