A CLITHEROE baby was born on an amazing day – the birthday of both her mum and dad!

Isabelle Hodges was due to have been a February baby but arrived four weeks prematurely on January 7 at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Lee and Vina Hodges had thought it was unusual enough that they were both born on the same day.

But the chances of Isabelle following the family tradition were 130,000 to one.

Lee, an advanced technologist at the 3M site at Clitheroe, said: “It was just an amazing coincidence.

"It’s certainly going to be a date that our families will find easy to remember.”
