Ribble Valley food festival cancelled

A food festival due to take place in the Ribble Valley has been cancelled.
The Lancashire Food Lovers’ Festival was to be held at Stonyhurst College on August 2 and 3 but has been scrapped following the demise of North West Fine Food, a not-for-profit organisation which aimed to improve the profile of the region’s quality food producers.
It was one of the major events of Taste Lancashire 08 — The Year of Food and Drink co-ordinated by Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board and supported by Made in Lancashire.
