A CAR overturned in Whalley leaving two people with injuries.
Firefighters attended the scene in Clitheroe Road at around 9pm last night but when they arrived the people had already escaped the vehicle and left the area.
Crews then cleared the road and made sure there was no oil spillages.
A fire service spokesman said: "The road traffic accident involved one car which had overturned.
"When crews got to the scene the two people in the car had already left the car and gone to hospital for treatment on slight injuries."
