HUNDREDS of homes in the Ribble Valley are currently without power after an electrical fault.
Faults initially affected 446 properties in the Whalley area but it has now dropped to 196, Electricity North West has said.
Power went off just before 12.30pm in areas such as Clitheroe Road, Pendleton Road and Willow Drive.
The regional power supplier said that the problems were caused by an underground cable fault.
Engineers are currently working at the site on restoring power to the remaining properties and hope to have supplies back by 3pm.
