Objection to homes plan for Sabden

First published in Sabden

SABDEN Parish Council has objected to plans to turn the former spinning mill and office building in Watt Street into a housing development.

Councillors believe that the plans include too many homes for the village.

The final decision on the plans will be made by Ribble Valley’s planning committee.

When will the local politicians get it in there heads that there are already houses for sale in Sabden and everywhere else in Ribble valley for anyone who wishes to move there and there is no need for any more. Espescially when there are no school places available etc.
More brown envelopes and corruption perhaps?
