ST Nicholas’ Church, in Sabden, will host a bumper weekend of events to celebrate its re-opening as an improved community hub in October.
Earby Brass Band will mark the start of the relaunch, with a special evening concert, on October 11. Tickets cost £11.
It will be followed by a flower festival, and local arts and crafts sale, on October 12 and 13, at the Wesley Street premises.
Tickets cost £4, and will give visitors a chance to see a specially- commissioned community tile mosaic art piece, created by local artist and former SMart presenter Lizi Botham.
The church has been undergoing extensive work, which includes a new room with kitchen and toilet facilities which can be hired by smaller community groups. Call 01282 779376 to book.
