A WOMAN suffered head, leg and spine injuries in a crash last night.
Firefighters said the woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, hit a wall before the car overturned and landed on its roof.
Police arrived at Gallows Lane, Ribchester, around 5.45pm and found the wheels of the red Ford Fiesta spinning with the driver trapped inside.
Firefighters swiftly cut her out before she was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
Police said her injuries are thought to be minor.
The road was blocked while investigations took place and the vehicle was recovered.
