HUNDREDS of people lined the streets of Ribchester to enjoy the 53rd annual field day.
The sun shone as the crowds gathered to see the procession before they headed to the show field for an afternoon of entertainment, food and fun.
As well as stalls and food tents visitors were also treated to an owl show, dog agility sessions, the crowning of the new Rose Queen Sophie Kearns, morris dancing children’s races and live music.
The weekend of fun was launched with a bang on Friday evening when Keith Flood and Friends in Cabaret took to the stage.
