New-look Mellor pub opens its doors

THE newly-refurbished Millstone in Mellor has been opened.

The pub and hotel in Church Lane has two new restaurant areas and the ground floor has also been revamped as part of the £100,000 project.

Anson Bolton, chef patron at the venue, said: “While we’ve seen a trend towards less formal dining, customers still demand the highest standards and quality when dining out.

“The redevelopment of our restaurant has enabled us to create a range of dining spaces and styles throughout the ground floor, while preserving the popular bar area for non-diners too — where visitors and locals can fully enjoy the fact that the Inn is owned by a brewery.”

The two-star hotel has 23 bedrooms and has held two rosettes for almost 10 years.
