Motorcyclist hurt in Longridge crash

A MOTORCYCLIST broke his leg after failing to negotiate a bend and ploughing through a fence into a farmer’s field.
The 28-year-old was riding along Preston Road in Longridge at just after 9pm last night when the accident happened.
No other vehicles were involved and the man was riding on his own.
He was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with his injuries.

Regarding the 'road safety' aspect of the news, can we draw your attention to 'regerme' a road safety scheme focused on peer pressure through the medium of vehicle registration numbers. Launched in the North West but slowly being used by people throughout the country it needs publicity to gain traction 100s a day search their own registrations but few post. This altruistic site is free to use.
It's not rocket science, peer pressure a proven method of influence making the roads safer and potentially saving lives.
