Motorcyclist hurt in Longridge crash

A MOTORCYCLIST broke his leg after failing to negotiate a bend and ploughing through a fence into a farmer’s field.

The 28-year-old was riding along Preston Road in Longridge at just after 9pm last night when the accident happened.

No other vehicles were involved and the man was riding on his own.

He was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with his injuries.
