PLANS to build an extension to a pharmacy have been given the go ahead despite opposition from local groups.
Bosses at Langho Pharmacy, on View Terrace, Langho submitted an application to Ribble Valley Council to construct a new pharmacy building in place of an existing garage.
In addition, they want to change the use of the existing building to three one-bedroom flats and create a new vehicular access.
Letters of objections were sent to the council on the grounds the extension would create road safety issues and become a hazard to local residents.
One residents also said there was insufficient parking and the building was in a poor state.
