The 20-year-old former warehouse worker from Langho was hailed by judges Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne as 'pure talent'.
Tonight the songstress sailed through the six chair challenge securing a spot in the next stage of the competition, judges houses.
Grace performed ‘Don’t Go’, an original song for which she accompanied herself on the piano.
Her performance took her through bootcamp and into the six chair challenge.
Cowell called her 'relatable', praised her 'pure talent with no gimmicks' and also saluted her voice and charisma.
Osbourne agreed with the 'relatable' verdict and told her: “Your voice is wonderful. We love you.”
Before performing, Grace said waiting for last week’s verdict from the judges was the 'most daunting thing ever'.
She added: “My heart was in my mouth. I was just so happy to hear I was through. I could not have wished for it to go better.”
She said she had got 'amazing feedback' from last week, which was 'the craziest moment of my life so far'.
She also spoke of her determination after receiving unfavourable comments in the past, saying: “I have been told I do not look like a pop star and I want to prove to these people I can do it.”
She said her song was about her one relationship, which she said was 'long gone'.
But she wished her former boyfriend well, saying: “I know he has a new girlfriend so I hope he’s really happy.”
After wowing the judges, who also included Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger, she said: “It’s the most surreal thing in the world. I’m just so happy.”
Today Grace said on Facebook: “Last night was the most beautiful moment for me, watching back my arena audition.
“I had 800 likes on here before my audition was aired five weeks ago, and now there are 50,000.
“I’m just blown away by everyone’s kind words and support and I’m having the best time ever right now.”
Grace, who attended Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, is set to appear in tonight’s episode for the girls’ six chair challenge.
She said: “The six chair challenge was the scariest, most dramatic and probably most traumatising thing I’ve ever done.”
Not wanting to give anything away before the show, she said: “Let’s see how I do.”
