A HOTEL has won the bronze award in the small hotel of the year category at the Visit England Awards for Excellence.

Northcote, in Langho, was presented with the prize at a ceremony at Old Trafford.

Craig Bancroft, managing director, said: “We were delighted to win bronze.

“To be recognised in the top three of small hotels in England is a huge achievement and one we are extremely proud of.”

James Berresford, Visit England’s chief executive said: “The quality of the 320 applications we received this year was extremely high.

“Against such tough competition, winning a bronze award is a considerable achievement.

“Northcote is now ranked as one of the top three businesses in its category for excellence, achieving one of the highest accolades.”
