A PETITION of more than 500 signatures has been delivered to County Hall.
Residents and councillors from Gisburn launched a campaign for a pedestrian crossing on the A59 in Gisburn.
The campaigners submitted the petition to Lancashire County Council and are waiting for a response.
A Lancashire County Council spokesman said: "I can confirm that we have received your paper petition.
"The total number of signatures on the paper petition will be added to the e-petition bringing the total number of signatures to 503.
"The council will respond to your joint petition within 28 days and a copy of the response will be posted on the e-petitions webpage."
