A RIBBLE Valley festival has been shortlisted for two national awards.
Beat Herder, which is held in Gisburn every year, has been nominated for the best small festival and the best dance event at the UK Festival Awards.
The ceremony will take place on Monday, December 2, at The Roundhouse in London.
The festival is up against Portmerion’s Festival Number 6, Beared theory in Derbyshire and Glasgobury in the best small festival category.
It is also facing competition from Bestival, Creamfields and RockNess in the best dance event category.
