A TWO car collision caused delays on the A59 near to Gisburn.
The traffic accident happened around 6.45pm near to Stirk House Farm and was first attended by a fire crew from Barnoldswick who passed the scene.
Firefighters gave primary first aid to five casualties whilst on the way to a fire at a Dutch barn in Slaidburn.
Further crews from Clitheroe Fire Station and the North West Ambulance Service also attended.
One person complained of a sore neck and back whilst another person in the other car was placed onto a long board suffering chest and back pain.
Three other people were treated for injuries, but they were not thought to be serious,.
