A ROAD has re-opened after a heavy goods vehicle got stuck in a ditch.
The white DAF truck came off the Pimlico Link Road roundabout on the A59 at Clitheroe at about 6.20pm on Thursday.
But after safety concerns were raised by motorists, police closed the link road roundabout on the A59 this morning to recover the HGV.
The HGV has since been recovered and the road re-opened.
Motorists had been advised to avoid the area this morning while the recovery took place.
Force incident manager Inspector Sturgess said: "There is nothing to suggest this was an RTC.

"Recovery have been on the scene clearing the debris this morning."
Ribble Valley Police said earlier today: "Pimlico Link Road roundabout is closed on the A59 while a heavy goods vehicle is recovered - Please avoid this area until recovery is complete"
