A SOLICITORS office could be turned into a residential apartment.
Sunderland and Peacock and Associates Ltd has submitted plans to Ribble Valley Council to convert a ground floor office of a former solicitor's premises into a two bedroom residential apartment at Stanley House, in Lowergate, Clitheroe.
The currently unoccupied premises is a grade II listed building located within the Clitheroe conservation area.
The building was owned by Thomas Westby during the 17th century and would be sold to Thomas Dugdale in 1691.
It was later sold to Thomas Stanley of Lancaster, who the building takes its name from.
