VALUABLE goods have been stolen from three homes in the last three days, police reveal.

Ribble Valley Police have asked residents in Clitheroe to be extra vigilant after three house burglaries took place over the last three days, two on Pimlico Road and one on Moorland Road.

According to officers, the incidents appear to have been committed during the day or in the evening and were not deemed to be 'particularly sophisticated'.

The suspects gained access to the rear of the properties and police believe they either smashed rear windows or forced doors or windows.

A police spokesman said: "Once inside offenders have targeted jewellery and electrical items.

"All the offences involve houses which were either unoccupied or the owners being out.

"Any information surrounding these offences or any reports with regard to on-going suspicious activity will be gratefully received."

If anyone has seen any information contact the police on 101.
