A CHOIR concert brings joy to the Valley.
Dozens of guests attended to The Joy to the World concert at Trinity Methodist Church and Community Hub, Clitheroe
Nigel Rix, Chair of Clitheroe Christians in Partnership, welcomed the audience and the Ribble Valley Choir and Orchestra with members travelling from as far as Settle, Barnoldswick and Colne.
Cllr Maureen Fenton, Mayor of Clitheroe, read the poem Jesus went to London based on the Grenfell Tower tragedy during a review of the past year.
Revd Ian Humphreys, superintendent of the Clitheroe Methodist Circuit, said: “My, how wonderful to have a full church at a concert celebrating Christmas on a cold winter’s night."
A retiring collection raised £1100 for the Rohingya Crisis appeal through Christian Aid.
