A 23-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with an attack on a 65-year-old man found with a fractured skull in Clitheroe.
The victim suffered serious head injuries during the early morning incident on Friday in Greenacre Street.
Joseph Ingham, 23, of Beech Street, Clitheroe, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court charged with assaulting Gerard Regan with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
He will appear at the crown court on January 8.
