Police incident
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after lost control of her car and ploughed into a hedge in Clitheroe.
Police said a green Land Rover went up into the air after driving into the hedge at Knowles Brow, Stonyhurst, Clitheroe just before 3pm.
The driver was already out of the car on arrival, firefighters said.
She suffered head injuries and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
