THE county's first ever Taste Lancashire food and drink conference will take place in the Ribble Valley today.
Taste Lancashire 2017 will bring together food entrepreneurs, international trade experts and retail bosses from the hospitality industry to challenge, inspire and celebrate Lancashire's food economy with the county's food and drink sector.
Food writer and broadcaster Jay Rayner will be the keynote speaker at the event along with Nigel Haworth, chef patron of Northcote and Ruth Mason, CEO of the Northern Restaurant and Bar Show.
Ruth Connor, Chief Executive of Marketing Lancashire said: "Taste Lancashire 2017 conference aims to showcase the county and further establish it as a must visit destination for food lovers locally, nationally and internationally.”
The event will take place at Holmes Mill, Clitheroe from 10am.
